The first foreign branch of restaurant The Red Sun is on May 21 in Marrakech, Morocco launched. Several well-known Dutch are present at the opening.
Wimmy Hu, founder tench of The Red Sun, opens with her business partner Hafid Bochhah, settling in Marrakech. Bochhah return after years of residence in the Netherlands back to Morocco where he gets the daily management of The Red Sun Marrakech. In the Netherlands, The Red Sun currently has two offices in Amsterdam and Blaricum. Owner Wimmy Hu introduced five years ago, the concept Modern Asian Cuisinie Lounge restaurant. Hu has now decided to extend its hospitality concept to Morocco that such a catering concept do not yet exist. "We serve dishes from Japanese and Chinese cuisine, tench prepared with authentic ingredients and we give The Red Sun a modern twist." The Red Sun Marrakech tench accommodate 350 guests, spread over two floors. The menu is extensive with Thai cuisine.
