Great camping, kayaking, horseback riding, picnicking, fishing, lots of nature and native plants as well. The 2,000 acre natural treasure water tanks is one of my favorite places to visit and get back to nature connected again! Sitting on the Rock Point, you will see a great view, and if you're lucky you may get to see. An eagle or an owl You can also walk from the bottom to the top!
Located in three counties (Jackson, Dekalb and Marshall) Bucks Pocket was once home to the Cherokee Indians on the Trail of Tears. The area was used for the cultivation of coffee and olives by the French during the 1700s too!

It is one of the best places to camp if you want to see. Some of the best wild Alabamas One of the best hikes that you can take from the camp all the way down to cove Morgans! The creek is great and you might see some really cool game. The area is famous for its wide range of wildlife! If you camp, you would go ahead and get ready to search for food see a coon or other critters. I've seen possums, deer, squirrels, rabbits, and wild cats. I've heard stories of bears spotted in the area, it would be the perfect living space!
Only 15 minutes away you have Guntersville Lake State Park and Mountain there you have High Falls. Oh yeah cant forget the eagle and deer around Lake Guntersville, great it is. Some great Fish River just down the mountain to the right in South Sauty. Within an hour you have Russell Cave, Little River Canyon, Noccalula Falls, Griffin Falls, Little Rock City (famous climbing!) Horse Pens 40 (famous for its world class climbing) is little more than an hour away!
