Scientists from the British Antarctic Survey (BAS) have found a deep valley in West Antarctica as deep as the Grand Canyon. The discovery has been conducted under Ferrigno Ice Stream, a region considered remote even by Antarctic standards. Before the visit of BAS scientists, had only gone once, half a century ago.
